Vote Today, Lead Tomorrow!
At Dr. Kalmadi Shamarao High School (KHSG), leadership is nurtured through participation, collaboration, and responsibility. Guided by the principles of Sociocracy, our Student Council Elections provided students with an inclusive, transparent, and democratic platform to choose their leaders.
Following an energetic two-day campaign, students from Grades VI to X cast their votes with great enthusiasm using a dedicated voting software developed by our alumnus, Nitish Kulkarni. The excitement was infectious, with even our Grade V students eagerly observing the process and looking forward to participating next year.
The journey reached its proud culmination with the Investiture Ceremony 2026, where the newly elected Student Council members were formally conferred with their badges in the presence of the entire school and their proud parents. Head Boy Advait Nair and Head Girl Tejal Bhatewara were conferred with their badges by Principal Mrs. Anjali Kulkarni, while the remaining council members received their badges from the senior leadership team.
Principal Mrs. Anjali Kulkarni led the solemn oath-taking ceremony, inspiring the council members to uphold the school’s values and lead with integrity, responsibility, and compassion. Advait and Tejal expressed their gratitude for the trust placed in them and pledged to serve the school with dedication, while their parents shared heartfelt words that encouraged students to aspire to leadership through commitment and action.
As our young leaders embark on this new chapter, we wish them the confidence to lead with courage, the wisdom to make thoughtful decisions, and the determination to make a positive difference. May they continue to uphold the values of KHSG and inspire others through their actions.
