Pune came together for a citywide ‘Drop Everything and Read’ (DEAR) event titled ‘Silence…Pune is reading’ on Tuesday, 9th December, from 11:00 to 12:00 noon. At KHSG, the entire school participated from 11:10 to 11:30 am. Students, teachers, office staff, helper kakas, and maushis joined in with books, magazines, and newspapers to share a quiet, meaningful reading break. The DEAR session was observed at Kalmadi High School for Grades 5 to 10, with teachers participating alongside students. The collective silence reflected a strong commitment to reading, reflection, and learning as a community across the school campus that day.
