The Prize Distribution Ceremony of Cyber Genius -An Inter-School Computer Competition was held on 20thJan 2024. Cyber Genius, hosted by Dr. Kalmadi Shamarao High School celebrated its successful 26th year. This competition aims at promoting computer literacy and encourages students to showcase their technical skills. This year, as Cyber Genius completes its 26th year, it has marked a significant milestone, as the participation soared up to reach a record-breaking number of one thousand and sixteen (1016) students from grades 1 to 10, from 30 schools across Maharashtra such as programming, web page designing, ICT innovation, robotics etc.

Mr. Manoj Bhat, Senior Director IT, at Dassault Systèmes graced the occasion as the chief guest. The ceremony was attended by dignitaries from Kaveri group, MKCL and Codingal along with students, teachers and parents from participating schools.

The prize distribution ceremony commenced with the lighting of the lamp, followed by a scintillating performance in artistic yoga and rhythmic gymnastics. Mrs. Malati Kalmadi, the Secretary of Kannada Sangha, took the stage to reflect on the remarkable journey of the computer department and Cyber Genius over the last 26 years. The journey of 26th Cyber Genius was shown using a film.

The awards were then distributed to the winners of the competition. The top three winners in each category received trophies, medals and certificates.
