Dr. Kalmadi Shamarao High School, Ganeshnagar, Pune recently, held its annual felicitation ceremony class 10 for academic excellence in the school auditorium on 10th June 2023.

The Chief Guest for the event was Mr. Nikhil Malhotra (CIO of Tech Mahindra). He was welcomed by Mr. Kushal Hegde, President Kannada Sangha.

The dignitaries, Shri Kushal Hegde, Dr. Narayan Hegde, Mrs. Radhika Sharma, Mrs Indira Salian, Mrs Malati Kalmadi, Mr Sudhakar Rao, and the KHS Secondary School Principal Pallavi Naik ma’am lit the lamp to seek the blessings of God.
The programme began with the motivational group song congratulating the students for their excellent performance in the exam.

The top 12 rankers of class 10 batch of 2022-23 were felicitated with mementoes and certificates for their excellent results. Parents, teachers and fellow students cheered the achievers. Apart from these, 24 students were recognized for their special achievement as subject toppers.
Students exhibiting remarkable improvement in the academics were also felicitated for their performance and sheer determination.

A few more achievements like CAL story projects, Gram setu project, ATL projects were also acknowledged and awarded.
Special recognition was given for the excellent work done through the year by the head boy Aryan Kulkarni & headgirl Diti Nandurbarkar.

Mrs Chandrika Kulkarni, parent of Pairavi Kulkarni and City topper and school topper Aryansingh Sonaye with a 99.4%, also addressed the gathering by recalling the efforts of teachers. Secretary, Kannada Sangha, Mrs. Malathi Kalmadi and Principal Mrs. Pallavi Naik, also addressed the gathering and praised the students for their excellent academic scores and advised them to remain modest.
They also stressed on the importance of being a good human being and to remain grounded.

Chief guest Mr. Nikhil Malhotra addressed the audience and guided the young students about the exciting topics of AI and robotics. The program ended with a vote of thanks.
