On the occasion of National Science Day Arjun Tathe (VI E) represented our school at Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Pune. He presented one of our innovative projects titled “Pulse of Green”, which creatively integrated science and nature.
Using a ‘Makey Makey kit’ and natural fresh leaves a unique piano was designed. This project beautifully demonstrated the concept of conductivity and sustainable innovation by combining technology with elements of nature.
He had the opportunity to meet the Director of IISER Pune, Dr.Bhagwat, who appreciated the innovative idea and the presentation.
Rudra Nandargi from 6F also demonstrated a project on electrochemistry. In his project, he showed how chemical energy can change into electrical energy. He explained this using simple experiments like a lemon battery. When two different metals are placed in a lemon, a chemical reaction happens and produces electricity. This helps us understand how batteries work.
The experience was enriching and inspiring, marking a proud moment for our school on National Science Day.
