Grade 6 students went for a field trip to Shivsrushti on 26th July, 2025.

This outing was planned in connection with the lecture series held during SST week, that gave a deeper insight in the Maratha Empire, through Shiv Mudra and by understanding and the reforms made then.

During the 4 hours engaging visit, the students got to watch major life events of Shivaji Maharaj in 3D

• Emergence of Maratha Empire
• (Agra warun sutka)
• Shivaji Maharaj ‘s Idea of Swarajya along with gaining immersive learning experience through museum that had weapons (talwar, bhale.. .) and miniature modeling of important forts during his reign.

Students showed great enthusiasm after every section visit by shouting out the war cry during his period (Jai Bhavani Jai Shivaji)

It was encouraging to all the teachers of SST department to witness such enthusiasm amongst students as everyone dispersed with renewed energy.
