The Dress the Door event was successfully organized in our school KHSG on 19.12.25 with great enthusiasm and creativity. The event was organized around SDG Goal 3: Good Health and Well-Being. To make the concept simpler, meaningful and age-appropriate, the broad theme was thoughtfully divided into six key dimensions of wellness for each division.
The selected sub-themes—physical, environmental, emotional, spiritual, intelligence and financial wellness—were chosen for their direct relevance to overall health and holistic well-being. Each class explored one aspect in depth and creatively represented the concept through classroom door displays.
Students demonstrated a clear understanding of their assigned wellness theme by depicting practical habits, positive messages, and real-life applications connected to healthy living. The displays reflected thoughtful planning, teamwork, and conceptual clarity, transforming the corridors into engaging learning spaces.
To extend learning beyond the classroom, our school organized a Community Connect session, inviting Mrs. Anjali Ganpule Rao, a renowned nutritionist, as the resource person. Through an engaging interaction, she emphasized the importance of healthy eating habits and making informed choices before consuming packaged and junk food. She highlighted how mindful consumption and lifestyle changes can collectively lead to improved well-being and empower students to become responsible change makers.
Complementing these initiatives, a series of auditorium performances further reinforced the theme of holistic wellness. Students presented a thoughtfully scripted skit highlighting the interdependence of all wellness dimensions, along with a yoga demonstration showcasing physical and mental balance. Cultural elements such as an Ayurveda-based song, a Dhanwantari dance, an energetic rap song, and a theme-based fashion show creatively conveyed messages of health awareness and sustainable living.
Together, the Dress the Door displays, Community Connect session and auditorium performances offered a comprehensive, experiential approach to learning. The initiative successfully fostered awareness, creativity and responsibility, reinforcing the significance of holistic health in alignment with SDG Goal 3: Good Health and Well-Being.
