Cyber Genius – Inter School IT Contest, our flagship program hosted by the ICT Department of Dr. Kalmadi Shamarao High School is held in the month of December and January every year.
The Prize Distribution Ceremony of Cyber Genius -An Inter-School Computer Competition was held on 11thJan’2025. Cyber Genius, hosted by Dr. Kalmadi Shamarao High School celebrated its successful 27th year. This competition aims at promoting computer literacy and encourages students to showcase their technical skills.
The aim of this contest is to encourage the application and cultivation of IT skills among the students. It provides opportunities to students from Std 1st to 10th to compete in a variety of IT events ranging from Programming in Scratch and Python, AV Poster competition, Data Analysis, MS paint, Comic Strip using Generative AI Software, RoboMission and ICT based Start up and hands-on challenges, students are equipped with practical knowledge and expertise.
This year we had 800+ students representing 26 schools across Maharashtra from grades 1 to 10, participate in this competition.
Mr. Anjan Biswas, India Innovation Lead at Amdocs, honoured the event as the Chief Guest. The occasion was further enriched by the presence of Mr. Surendra Brahme, COO and Co-founder of Zenworks Solutions and the Myelin Platform, who served as the Guest of Honour.
Additionally, Mrs. Sonali Katke and Mr. Soumy Ranjan Pani from MKCL graced the event as Special Guests. The ceremony was attended by dignitaries from Kaveri group, MKCL and Myelin along with students, teachers and parents from participating schools.
The prize distribution ceremony commenced with the lighting of the lamp, followed by Cyber Pledge which was administered by Principal KHSG, Mrs Pallavi Naik.
Mrs. Malati Kalmadi, Secretary of Kannada Sangha, addressed the audience with inspiring and encouraging words.
The awards were then distributed to the winners of the competition. The top three winners in each category received trophies, medals and certificates.
