Alumni Shantanu Mundra

Shantanu Mundra (KHS Batch 2015–16) is a music composer and producer who has been professionally active since 2020–21. Over the years, he has worked across a diverse range of projects, including Marathi films, national television serials, advertisements, independent songs, and short films.

He has also contributed to unique artistic spaces, notably composing and designing music for art galleries and installations at Abhay Prabhavana, one of the largest Jain museums, located near Panshet. The museum showcases the rich history of Jainism through immersive experiences.
Two of the theatrical productions he worked on—Cherry Eke Cherry (Bal Natya) and Aaba Ki Aayegi Baarat (a commercial play featuring Prabhakar More)—were honoured with the prestigious Zee Natya Gaurav Awards.
Most recently, he received the IFP Platinum Award for Best Song of the Year in the Folk Fusion category. Song Name: ‘Khidki’. The project required creating a song from scratch within 50 hours, incorporating specific elements and delivering a fully mixed and mastered track. He received the award from renowned artists Hariharan, Priya Saraiyya, and Akshay Hariharan. The links of his songs are shared below.
