Adopt A River Stretch 2026

As part of the World Environment Day celebrations, KHSG students participating in the Jeevit Nadi Project visited the Mutha River stretch near Vitthalwadi Mandir on Sinhagad Road on Sunday, 7 June 2026.

During the visit, the students actively participated in a river clean-up drive, contributing to the conservation and restoration of the local ecosystem. Following the clean-up activity, they delivered informative presentations on river pollution and the importance of adopting a toxin-free lifestyle.

The presentations were exceptionally well-prepared and confidently delivered by all the students. They demonstrated a sound understanding of environmental issues and answered the audience’s questions thoughtfully and effectively.

The event served as a valuable learning experience, reinforcing the students’ commitment to environmental stewardship and their role as responsible citizens working towards a cleaner and healthier future.
