Student Leadership Conference 2025
Dr. Kalmadi Shamarao High School, Ganeshnagar, proudly hosted the 9th Interschool Student Leadership Conference in Panchgani from 12th to 14th September 2025.
The conference commenced with an inspiring inaugural session titled “Leadership – My Stories”, featuring distinguished speakers Dr. Parimal Phadke, Aparna Prabhudesai, and Hruithvik Ambekar. Their powerful personal journeys and insights deeply engaged the student delegates, setting a motivating tone for the event.
The delegates then moved to Asia Plateau, the venue for the next two days, where they participated in interactive and thought-provoking leadership workshops conducted by Sudarshan Mahajan, Manish Freeman, Sherline Pimenta, Meghna Ravindra, Shivani More, and Anand Chabukswar. These sessions provided practical leadership skills and new perspectives on personal growth and responsibility.
In addition to the academic sessions, the students were treated to an energetic musical performance by The Terrace Groove, adding a vibrant and entertaining element to the experience.
The Initiatives of Change conducted a soul-nurturing session on 13th September, followed by a nature walk to Sydney Point the next morning, allowing students to reflect, unwind, and connect with nature.
According to the delegates’ feedback, the conference was a transformative experience that left a lasting impact, inspiring them to embrace leadership with confidence and purpose.
