Dr. Kalmadi Shamarao High School, Ganeshnagar, Pune recently, held its annual felicitation ceremony class 10 for academic excellence in the school auditorium on 13th August 2022.
The Chief guest for the event was the school alumnus, Mr. Sandeep Ranade. He was welcomed by Dr. Narayan Hegde, Vice President Kannada Sangha.
The chief guest, Dr. Narayan Hegde, Mrs. Radhika Sharma, Joint Treasurer Kannada Sangha and the KHS Seconadary School Principal Pallavi Naik ma’am lit the lamp to seek the blessings of God.
The top 19 rankers of class 10 batch of 2021-22 were felicitated with mementoes and certificates for their excellent results. Parents, teachers and fellow students cheered the achievers. Apart from these, special achievement awards were also given for subject toppers and 17 students were awarded for their 100% scores in various subjects.
Mr. Kotulkar and Mr. Pai, parents of two achievers’ and two top ranker students, Vihang Vidwans and Simran Verma also addressed the gathering by recalling the efforts of teachers. The Vice President and Principal ma’am also addressed the gathering and praised the students for their excellent academic scores and advised them to remain modest. They also stressed on the importance of being a good human being and to remain grounded.
Then the CBSE students of the class 10 current batch performed a group song. The programme ended with a vote of thanks.
