To equip educators with the tools and knowledge necessary to drive environmental sustainability in schools, the “Pune Climate Warriors (Season-5) Teacher Guidance Workshop” was successfully organized. Asst. teacher Mrs. Usha More attended the workshop.The workshop focused on training teachers to lead climate advocacy, waste management, and sustainability initiatives among students.
- Introduction to Season-5 Initiatives: The organizers outlined the core goals for the fifth season of the Climate Warriors movement, emphasizing action-oriented environmental projects within schools.
- Curriculum & Activity Guidance: Teachers received detailed guidance on implementing experiential learning modules covering plastic waste management, biodiversity conservation, and reducing carbon footprints.
- Interactive Planning Sessions: The participating educators collaborated on designing impactful awareness campaigns, eco-drives, and student-led green initiatives for the upcoming academic year.
The workshop successfully empowered teachers to act as coordinators and mentors for the Climate Warriors program in their respective institutions. Equipped with new strategies and educational resources, the educators left inspired to cultivate a strong sense of environmental responsibility and civic duty among their students.
