Aims of Kaveri KalaKshetra

  • To inculcate an understanding and an appreciation for Indian as well as global traditional arts and culture.

Courses and Workshops

Theatre classes

Theatre offers a platform for the creative play of imagination and self-expression. Our theatre exercises and activities are planned specially for the all-around development of our budding actors. We offer an atmosphere full of fun and boost imagination, creativity, confidence and body awareness for kids. Well-known theatre personalities like Rupali Bhave & Anand Chabukswar serve as mentors for these classes and give your child an opportunity to learn from the masters.

Certificate course in Theatre

AGE: Students from Std. V – X
DURATION: Three Years
FEES:
1st year- Rs.6000/-
2nd year- Rs.6000/-
3rd year- Rs.8000/-

At the end of this course, students will receive a Certificate.

Pre-certificate course in Theatre

AGE: Students of Std. IV
DURATION: 1 year (July to February)
FEES:
Rs.5000/- per annum.

Carnatic music classes

We introduce the richness of Carnatic vocal music into your child’s life with our Carnatic music classes mentored by the well-known singer Mrs. Nandini Gujar.

AGE: 10 years and above
FEES:
Rs.7500/-per annum (1st level)
Rs.10000/- per annum (2nd level)

West African Drums (Djembe)

We bring the rhythm of the Djembe and the opportunity to learn about the West African Culture with our Djembe Course lead by Mr. Nitin Satav (Disciple of Shri. Ramdas Palsule & Toufiq Qureshiji). Djembe will be provided by Kaveri KalaKshetra during classes.

AGE: 6 years and above
DURATION: 1 year (every weekend)
FEES:
Rs. 4,500/- (for three months)

Kaveri Kalavardhini Prayogshala

This workshop initiates young school students into the field of arts and exposes them to well-known artists to help them understand the nuances of various art forms. This annual workshop takes place in the month of April.

AGE: 8 - 16 years
DURATION: 5 days

Q’shala

This course offers a fun, new way to grow and enhance skills like problem solving, team work, critical thinking, logical reasoning. It also inculcates in our children the confidence to take up challenges.

AGE: 10 - 14 years
DURATION: 1 year

Admission Process for all courses

  1. Forms will be available at Kannada Sangha office from 10th June.
  2. Please submit dully filled forms along with a cheque for the specified amount at the Kannada Sangha Office.
  3. Cheque should be drawn in the name of ‘Kannada Sangha’.
  4. The last date for admission is 30th June, 2018.
  5. All the courses will start in the first week of July.
