A one day field visit was organized by the Geography department to Limb and to Wai on 20th December 2022.

There were 45 students who attended the visit.

The group visited the step well at Limb where the faculty,Devika Deshpande explained the structure,the reason for building the well and the figurines on the well.
A discussion regarding the primary activities in the region,subsistence agricultural practises were discussed in details with the students from class 12.
Various mountain structures were seen and discussed.

The group then visited the residence of Nana Fadnavis where students saw excellent wood work,paintings, stone fountains etc.
The students then visited the ghats where they enjoyed the water of the river and saw a bell which is made of 5 metal alloys.
The students confessed that geography was not being understood completely as the visit exposed them to various aspects of geography.
