Gifted Nurturing Programme- Virtual Katta 17th August 2021

Session : Virtual Katta: an ice breaking session with academically gifted students.

Date : 17th August 2021.

It’s an informal platform for students where they can speak freely, express their thoughts and exchange their views.
This time, students were asked to express and open up on the theme “What success means to them? “And also, on the theme ” Building successful relationships.
For few of them, staying alive and healthy itself is a success whereas for few others, the satisfaction and contented feeling while achieving the goal is success irrespective of whether the goal is achieved or not.
Few opined that being in the present moment and enjoying it is important for a successful life.
Students responded more to the qualitative success than a quantitative one and hence strongly felt that success can’t be measured.
Overcoming fears, being able to improve yourself, making right choices, learning from experiences are the essentialities of a successful person.
Having asked about successful relationships in life especially with friends, majority were of the opinion that the trust, respect, mutual understanding, transparency, good communication, give and take, acceptance, admiration for each other are essential for any relationships to be successful.
Students shared their experiences of their broken friendships and how they could rebuild them by overcoming the obstacles in a way.
Students participated very enthusiastically and demanded for more such sessions.
