Session by Dr. Amruta Deshmukh

Wellness of Mind, Body and soul:-The entire session emphasized on how wellness of one’s mind, body and soul can be attained.

 

• Dr. Amruta Deshpande /Deshmukh started the session showing a small word- picture quiz to understand the varied impact each word has on individuals and what is the idea of wellness to everyone.
• The session then advanced by discussing the importance of good food, appropriate exercise, rest & sleep, managing anxiety and stress with proper study pattern.
• She also explained how we can organise our metabolism by setting regular meal times, exercise routine, sleep routine and regularize screen time which is very important in current scenario.

 

• Good mental health means being stress free which she emphasized can be attained by meditation, music & hobbies, social connect , time in nature along with appropriate exercise and nutrition.
• Dr Amruta then explained the Panchakosha model of Health with the help of a very simple example of a remote car.

 

• She concluded the session by unfolding the meaning of Karmayoga with the help of famous Sanskrit shloka – which says enjoy the process, detach yourself from results and don’t try to control them.
