This year as on 15th August 2021, the celebration of Independence Day was held in a unique way following all the covid-19 guidelines in KSJC Pune.

The President Kannada Sangha Mr. Kushal Hegde and head admin Kannada Sangha Mrs. Sumati Srinivasan graced the occasion with their attendance.
Vaidehi Sarode (12th std student KSJC), A national player in Roller skating marked her special attendance on Independence Day. Ground and stilt area was decorated with tricolour and flowers.

The flag hoisting was done by the chief guest Mr. Kushal Hegde; followed by the National Anthem. Dr. Madhuri Chittewan- Principal KSJC, then administered the pledge. President Kannada Sangha- Mr. Kushal Hegde presented a sapling as a token of appreciation to Vaidehi Sarode for her valuable contribution in Roller skating.
Program ended with ‘Vande Mataram.’

Indeed, it was a day of joy, a day to love and respect our country and make it a better place for Indians to live and experience the freedom, peace and unity in diversity.
