Paper Factory Visit

Educational Visit to a Handmade Paper Factory on 24th January as a part of SDG for the students of (Std 4)

Our Std 4 students went on a joyful and learning-filled visit to a handmade paper factory.

This visit helped them understand how paper is made in an eco-friendly left-over cotton thread.

What the Children Learned

How waste cotton threads are turned into pulp.

The use of mould and deckle to make paper sheets

Drying and pressing of paper naturally

Importance of recycling and saving trees

Children saw workers carefully making each sheet by hand

They touched and felt different textures of handmade paper

They learned that handmade paper is strong and environment-friendly.

This visit taught students:

  • To respect nature
  • To reduce waste
  • To reuse and recycle paper
  • To care for the environment

The visit was informative, enjoyable, and inspiring. It helped students connect classroom learning with real-life experiences. The children returned with happy memories and a promise to protect our planet.
