The first Angat Pangat of the new academic year was celebrated with great joy at KHS Primary on 15th July.
Students of Standards 3 and 4 from the morning shift, and Standards 1 and 2 from the afternoon shift, came together in the common area to share their tiffin and enjoy the spirit of togetherness.
The healthy menu of sprouts usal, poli, and fresh salad encouraged children to enjoy nutritious food and build mindful eating habits. The meal began with the traditional prayer “वदनी कवळ घेता”, offering gratitude for the food we receive.
After the meal, students practised Vajrasana, a yoga posture known to aid digestion and bring calmness.
Angat Pangat continues to be a beautiful initiative that nurtures healthy eating, mindfulness, gratitude, and unity. The children thoroughly enjoyed the experience and are already looking forward to next month’s Angat Pangat.
