On 30th July 2026, Dr. Kalmadi Shamarao High School, Primary Section enthusiastically celebrated Theme Day with an engaging showcase of learning and creativity. The themes for the day were “Plants” for Std III and “Animals” for Std IV.
Students were divided into four batches, with 11 students in each group, ensuring that every child had an opportunity to participate and present. Parents were invited to witness the event, making it a memorable celebration of collaborative learning.
The classrooms were transformed into vibrant learning spaces with informative charts, creative models, colourful displays, and interactive exhibits related to the themes. Students confidently presented their work through poems, skits, dances, storytelling, and informative presentations, explaining various concepts about plants and animals with enthusiasm and confidence.
The event provided a wonderful platform for students to enhance their communication, creativity, teamwork, and presentation skills while making learning meaningful and enjoyable. Parents appreciated the children’s confidence, knowledge, and active participation, making the Theme Day a grand success.
The celebration beautifully reflected the spirit of experiential learning, where students explored, created, and shared their understanding in an engaging and joyful manner.
