National Science Day is celebrated in India on February 28 each year to mark the discovery of the Raman effect by Indian physicist Sir CV Raman.
KHS celebrated the Science Day on 4th March. Two children from std 3 and 4 demonstrated science experiments. Std 4 performed on the hand sanitizer and fire to demonstrate the flammability of alcohol and the phenomenon of an “invisible flame”.
The other was on dancing popcorn kernels.
Std 3 conducted on disappearing rainbow and floating ink.
Std 1 and 2 also performed experiments with teachers help on Refraction of light and Salt Density.
