The year 2023 – 24 is packed with the richest experiences, part of which was the amazing Grade VIII Assembly based on ‘Financial Literacy’ that was held on 21st August 2023 in the KHSG auditorium. The program was graced by Principal, Pallavi Naik and Chief Guest, C.A. Srushti Bhandwalkar, our alumni from the 2013 batch, who is a qualified Chartered Accountant and is also a law graduate. We were also fortunate to hear an illuminating speech by another alumnus (From the 2022 batch), Malhar Gandhe, regarding a project on Financial Literacy, which was undertaken by Malhar Gandhe and Ayush Lodha under the ‘City As Lab’ project.

The program was a perfect blend of information and entertainment. Students not only creatively demonstrated their talents in singing, dancing, and acting but also showcased their teamwork. The assembly targeted spreading financial awareness among this age group of students. The Grade VIII Assembly, themed ‘Financial Literacy’, aimed to equip students with essential knowledge and skills related to personal finance. The assembly featured interactive sessions, engaging presentations, and practical demonstrations, providing valuable insights into budgeting, saving, and investing wisely.

The objective was to empower students to make informed financial decisions and develop a strong financial foundation for their future. The Grade VIII Assembly exploring ‘Financial Literacy’ has left a lasting impact on the students. The presence of esteemed guests, Principal Pallavi Naik, and Chief Guest CA Srushti Bhandwalkar added prestige and inspiration to the occasion. Through this assembly, students gained invaluable knowledge and learned the importance of financial literacy, setting them on a path to financial success.
