HATS OFF to the person who invented the hat!!!
Hats have been an integral part of human culture for thousands of years. In ancient civilizations, hats were worn as a symbol of status, wealth and power.
In modern times, hats have become a fashion statement, so Hat Day was celebrated at KHSG by Grade 5 students. These young designers across all the divisions created all sorts of unique and stylish hats of different shapes, colours and sizes.
The teachers at KHSG encouraged the students to follow sustainable practices by reinforcing them to create hats using waste papers and fabric and also old newspapers.
Hat Day at school was a perfect excuse to wear favourite hats like cowboy hat, top hat, mortar board hats, witch and wizard hat, magicians’ hat, clowns’ hat and more to add to the list.
The students could show off their creativity by wearing their favourite hand-made hats during whole school assembly and by continuing to wear them throughout the day. The teachers and other grade students admired the creative, colourful and unusual hats by discussing interesting facts about the hats and by taking handful of pictures.
This is how the CROWNS and BRIMS stole the scene at KHSG.
