The auditorium of Dr. Shamarao Kalmadi High School Ganesh Nagar echoed with blessings on 13.04.23, when the KHSG Family came together to bid farewell to the outgoing batch of grade 10 students for the academic year 2022-2023.
It was a morning of mixed emotions for all those present in the school auditorium to witness the official send-off for grade 10.
The day was a fiesta devoted to the years spent together with friends and teachers, to reminisce joyous moments.
The Auditorium was decorated appropriately keeping in mind the occasion, the backdrop painted in different shades of colours, and dazzling lights.

It was a beautiful morning, as the students showed up, dressed in their best attires. The young ladies glowed in coloured saris whereas gentlemen carried themselves smartly in traditional wear and suits.
Elegantly dressed, the outgoing students entered the school premises and they were well received by the teachers.

The event began with a warm welcome to all.
Special awards under various categories, like voracious reader, the most cheerful smile, being helpful, most well-behaved student were announced section wise. Students walked on the ramp and received the awards. This was followed by a film about the fun moments of school life, of these students that brought smiles on their faces. These videos were made by the students of class 9.

The stage conversation of the outgoing Students of this batch took everyone through the memory lanes, where they mentioned the various activities, they participated in, their experiences about school, teachers and their friends. Our teachers through their speeches advised the students to prepare well. This was followed by a captivating musical performance by their very own music teacher Samuel sir.

Our Principal’s address emphasized the values that the school had inculcated in the students which they must carry with them wherever they go. The event ended with the students’ exchanging wishes over lunch. It marked the end of a beautiful phase and the beginning of an important phase for our dear students.
The entire batch left a trail of nostalgia behind. They expressed their gratitude towards all the teachers and the school, for making this journey so meaningful for them, and also for arranging a long-awaited farewell function.
