The Prize Distribution Ceremony of Cyber Genius -An Inter-School Computer Competition was held on 28thJan’2023.
Cyber Genius, hosted by Dr. Kalmadi Shamarao High School celebrated its successful 25th year.
This competition aims at promoting computer literacy and encourages students to showcase their technical skills.
This year the competition was organized in collaboration with MKCL and Codingal. 800 participants of classes 1 to class 10 from 43 schools competed in various categories, such as programming, web page designing, ICT innovation, robotics etc.
Mr. Parag Mankikar, founder Director, Niti Solutions graced the occasion as the chief guest and Mr. Satyam Baranwal, Co-Founder & COO of Codingal was the guest of honour.
The ceremony was attended by dignitaries from Kaveri group, MKCL and Codingal along with students, teachers and parents from participating schools.
The prize distribution ceremony commenced with the lighting of the lamp, followed by a scintillating performance in artistic yoga and rhythmic gymnastics.
Mrs. Malati Kalmadi, the Secretary of Kannada Sangha, took the stage to reflect on the remarkable journey of the computer department and Cyber Genius over the last 25 years.
She appreciated the tireless efforts of the past and present principals and teachers.
To further commemorate this momentous occasion, a short film showcasing highlights from the past 25 years of Cyber Genius, was presented.
The awards were then distributed to the winners of the competition.
The top three winners in each category received trophies, medals and certificates.
The Rolling trophy for Mini group was bagged by Dr. Kalmadi Shamarao high School, Primary section, Ketkar Road and runners up trophy to DSK school
The Rolling trophy for Junior group was shared between two schools. V.P.New Balvikas mandir, Baramati and V.P. Magarpatta City Public School while Runners up position was secured by Dr. Kalmadi Shamarao high School, Ganesh Nagar
The Rolling trophy for Senior Group was won by Dr. Kalmadi Shamarao high School, Ganesh Nagar. The Runner up position was shared between V.P. Magarpatta City Public School and V.P.New Balvikas mandir, Baramati
