Kaveri group of Institutes including Dr. Kalmadi Shamrao High school, secondary section, Ganeshnagar celebrated the 74th Republic day on the school ground.
The ceremony started with flag hoisting by the Chief Guest Shri. N.B Shetty in the presence of the Honourable members of Kannada Sangha and heads of all the schools and colleges.
This was followed by patriotic songs sung by students of KHS Ganeshnagar and Kannada medium school. There-after the programme continued in Shakuntala Jagannath Shetty auditorium.
A variety of cultural performances were showcased by students of various branches of Kaveri Institutes.
Also students of different branches who have won laurels in the fields of sports and education were felicitated by the honourable chief guest.
This was followed by chief guest’s inspirational speech. The programme concluded with vote of thanks.
