Std 9 Assembly

School Assembly is an integral part of the school activities. It is the first platform which is provided to the young minds to boost their confidence towards public speaking and developing the team spirit. Keeping this in mind students of STD IX conducted their Assembly on Wednesday 17th August 2022 in Shri Jaggannath Shetty School Auditorium. The topic of the assembly was ‘Parivartan – The Change’. The assembly commenced with the prayers. The assembly started with ‘Guruvandana’, it was fusion between Indian Kathak Dance and Spanish Dance. A mesmerizing performance.

Next in flow was ‘KHSG – Parivartan’. This year Kaveri Group of Institutes is celebrating its Golden Jubilee. This video summed up the challenging journey of 51 years of KHSG.
After this next in line were two skits. The first skit was based on how students tackled behavioural changes post pandemic. The next skit spoke about how robots can be used to solve the daily issues, like treating an ailing knee pain, prepping for dinner. This skit highlighted our future life style and how robots will impact our life.

Immediately after the skits was a beautiful song ‘The Man in the Mirror’. The students sang it wonderfully by telling the audience that we all have the desire to make a change. But if you concentrate on the whole world to change, you will get nothing. That is why focus on yourself and be the change.
Following the song was a Power Point Presentation which educated the audience by telling that Indian Movies like Rang de Basanti, Swades, Taare Zamin Par, and Chak de India created a greater impact on the society. These movies brought revolutionary changes in the thinking of the Indian society.

Taking the program forward, next came the standup comedian Nihar Nijasure. He entertained the audience by creating some hilarious moments.
The guest for the assembly was an alumnus Mr. Nishad Patki. In his speech he spoke about how he embraced change in his life. He also spoke that passion, dedication open mindedness play a very crucial role in one’s life.
Finally the show ended with a dance performance based on Kargil War. This performance successfully attracted the attention of the audience by bringing patriotic flavor in the auditorium.

Finally the program ended by inviting all the performers (front and back stage) and STD IX class teachers on the stage to thank the patient audience
