Eco- Friendly ganapati  idol making activity  was organized for students of  std 7 at Dr. Kalmadi  Shamarao High school, Ganeshnagar on 9th September. 

Under the guidance of Mr. Chetan Pansare an expert in making Eco- friendly  idols,  the students prepared idols with the help of natural water based clay. Enthusiasm among the students was so high that the entire atmosphere become very pious. Students made Ganesh idols from clay with devotion, passion and creativity.  Students were extremely excited to see their Ganesh idols. Mr. Chetan Pansare also briefed the students about ill effects of Plaster of Paris. 

Happy Sale

Art department had organised “Ganesh Idol” making workshop for std. 7th students in the school stilts.
Students enjoyed the idol making very much as playing in clay is their favourite job. Later, all the idols were painted beautifully by the students.

To encourage them more, the school has organised “Happy sale” of these idols under which the students were able to sell their idols. This activity got an immense response. The ambience at the sale was very festive. Parents who came for the happy sale were very excited and cheerful. Overall, it was fun-filled activity for the students. They enjoyed it very much.
