KSJC Staff Appreciation Day on 7th April, 2026

As the academic year comes to an end, it’s time for Staff Appreciation. This is a day to acknowledge the timeless efforts and wholehearted dedication of the staff members who ensure the smooth functioning of every event and activity in the institution. Principal Mrs. Shobha Channal invited all staff members for the same.

The event was graced by the esteemed presence of the Management members Mrs. Malati Kalmadi, Secretary, Kannada Sangha, Mrs. Radhika Sharma, Joint Treasurer, and Mrs. Pallavi Naik, Principal Emeritus to KHSG.

Principal Mrs. Shobha Channal appreciated the commitment, sincerity, and teamwork displayed by the entire staff throughout this academic year. She highlighted how every member contributes significantly to the successful execution of college activities.

The uniqueness of this year’s celebration was the thoughtful categorization of all staff members based on their strengths and contributions. They were recognized under meaningful categories such as Creative Minds, Outstanding commitment and dedication, Excellence in Precision and Perfection, Support Staff, Harmony Builders, Team Work, and others. This innovative approach added a personal touch to the appreciation and made every staff member feel valued for their individual role. The helpers were recognized along with a tune of a song suitable to their characteristics.

Mrs. Malati Kalmadi addressed the gathering after this. She congratulated Principal Mrs. Shobha Channal for having this event, which was initiated by the former Principal Mrs. Sumathi Srinivasan. Madam further said that KSJC needs to work on two points in the upcoming academic year- on job training and community outreach.

A special attraction of today’s event was the ‘Teachers’ Hobby Corner’ a unique exhibition that beautifully showcased the artistic and creative talents of teachers through art, craft, crochet work, paintings, and other handmade creations. The exhibition was highly appreciated by everyone and reflected the hidden talents of the teaching fraternity.

Principal Mrs. Channal had invited the spouse or parent of each staff member for this event. Two guests – the mother of Janhavi Wadke and mother-in-law of Anagha Kulkarni were appreciated for being present for this program.

After the refreshments, the event concluded on a warm and cheerful note, strengthening the bond among staff members and reinforcing the culture of gratitude and appreciation at KSJC.
