‘Srujan– The Literature Club’ of Dr. Kalmadi Shamarao Junior College, Pune organized it’s first activity on 8th September, 2025 in the college stilts. An exhibition was arranged to provide a platform for students and teachers to present their creative expressions.
The theme of this exhibition was ‘प्रेम म्हणजे… प्रेम असतं’/ ‘Love is the thread that binds us all’.
The theme reflects the idea that love is universal. Love is simply about connection, acceptance and warmth. It is the only language understood by every heart.
Neither the language, nor the literature form was the barrier. Literary expression in any form was accepted.
Both students and teachers participated enthusiastically and contributed poems, articles, stories, interviews, memoirs in English, Marathi, Hindi and even in German language. Few students shared the paintings based on the same theme. No judgement was made and all the entries were displayed in the exhibition area. This created an inspiring and colourful display.
The creativity and originality of the participants were highly appreciated. Principal Mrs. Shobha Channal visited the exhibition and appreciated the creativity of the students and the staff members. The event received an encouraging response from the students as well as from the teachers.
The teachers expressed that they got a platform to showcase their writing creativity after a long time. The activity marked a successful beginning for the Literature Club and motivated everyone to explore their literary and artistic talents.
