GNP Alumni Katta: A Fruitful Interaction

 

On July 10th, an engaging program was held to facilitate meaningful interactions between current gifted students and alumni.

 

Objectives: The session aimed to provide valuable insights and guidance to the students.

To Establish good connection of current students with alumni.

 

Program Highlights

The program commenced with an introduction session, where alumni shared their current pursuits, academic experiences, and hobbies. Current students actively engaged with the alumni, discussing various topics such as:

  • Parental pressure and peer pressure
  • Prioritizing academics and finding coping mechanisms
  • Managing expectations and staying focused on personal objectives

Student Feedback

The students responded positively to the program, engaging in open discussions and seeking guidance from the alumni. A notable discussion centered around parental expectations and the choice of streams after the 10th standard. One student shared her experience of facing disappointment from her mother due to her choice of the Arts stream despite scoring high marks.
