The students of the Readers Club, accompanied by Mrs. Ashwini Sarpotdar, the Librarian, visited the book stall at the book exhibition held at Fergusson College Ground on 31st January 2025.

The stall, titled “Aadaan-Pradaan,” was organized by Pundalik Pai Friends Library, Dombivli, and featured a unique book exchange facility. As part of this initiative, 50 old books were exchanged for 50 new Marathi books, purchased at a nominal cost of Rs. 10 per book. This made the exchange highly rewarding, as 50 fresh titles were acquired for just Rs. 500 while contributing an equal number of books in return.

The visit proved to be a valuable experience for the students. They enjoyed the opportunity to personally select books of their interest, including fiction, non-fiction, biographies, and autobiographies.
