The purpose of this event was to promote environmental awareness, address climate change concerns, and emphasize the importance of reforestation in our community.

Objective:
The primary objective of the tree plantation activity was to promote environmental sustainability and contribute to the overall well-being of our ecosystem. This activity aimed to raise awareness about the significance of planting trees, combat deforestation, and encourage students participation in environmental initiatives.

Event Details:
The tree plantation activity was held on 30th June 2023 from 8am to 10am.
The event took place at ‘Smritivan’, Warje, Pune , a designated area known for its potential for afforestation. The activity drew participation from 17 students and teachers of Geography Department (Ashish Kumar, Deepti C. Kulkarni).
