Dr. Kalmadi Shamarao Junior college conducted G 20 Mock Summit according the guidelines of Education Department of Pune Municipal Corporation on very short notice.
PMC has selected 6 schools all over the Pune for this event and KSJC was one of them. On a previous day Mr. Sachin Kale, Asst. Administrative officer of Pune had briefed about the outline of the program and how it has to be executed. Various things were involved in it, such as group of 20 students who will represent G 20 group, 3 speakers form outside for the meeting, T-shirts and caps for the participants, Flags and name plates of the nations, Flexes, recording etc.
College played a vital role in execution of program with the help of KHS. 10 students from each branch were selected. The program was conducted in college AV room. Fixed duration ( 1hr and 45 mins) was given for the program. It has started exactly at 11:00am. 15 mins were given to each speaker and 10 mins to the representative delegators to share their views. Dr. ChandrahasSonpethkar from Tilak Educational College had given speech on Developmental Cooperation. The second speaker, Mr. SwanandKumbharRaje from S.N.D.T. shared his views on Sustainable Lifestyleand Mr.Vedant Kulkarni from Ferguson college had talked about Women Empowerment.
The entire program was recorded to sent it to Delhi. Students active participation and enacting the role of delegators made it successful. In spite of a very short notice the program went smoothly.
The credit goes to the Institution, teachers and the relentless efforts taken by the non-teaching staff for collection of T-shirts, flexes, flags at odd time.
