Cyber safety and security has always been of a concern.
The COVID-19 pandemic has added to it. Internet has been an integral part of everyone’s life. Right from work or education to ordering your favourite food from a favourite restaurant, we use electronic gadgets extensively.

We’re spending more time online than ever before. And that’s making cyber security more important than it’s ever been.
Cyber security is important because it protects all categories of data from theft and damage.
This includes sensitive data, personally identifiable information, protected health information, personal information, intellectual property, data, and governmental and industry information systems.

Keeping this in mind, the session on Cyber Security was organized on 19th December 2022, which was facilitated by Mrs. Rupali Brahme. The session highlighted points like what is hacking, what a hacker does, various myths people have due to lack of knowledge, etc.
The session also covered concepts like phishing, cyber bullying, flaming, deingration, Impersonations, exclusion, cyber stalking, virus, spywear, and many more. If we are the victims what are the possible solutions were also discussed.
Overall, a session was quite informative.
