Dr. Kalmadi Shamarao Junior College had organized a Career Fest on 17th and 18th December 2022.
It was open for the students from Std. IX to XII.
Choosing a career stream is one of the most pioneering moments of an individual’s life. It defines the future course of professional and personal journey of students and is a stepping stone to the many dreams they wish for.
For some, learning opportunities that are made available by certain careers – is important while for many an occupation’s earning potential is a major consideration.
The objective to host this career fest was to make the students and parents aware and well informed of various unconventional career options and their scope further of all three streams – Science, Arts and Commerce.
On 17th December it covered the options available in India, Particularly about, Defense, marine engineering, printing technology, architecture and design and medicine, CA, CS, Psychology, BBA, law, were the fields for which the students got the expert guidance too.
Similarly, on 18th December 2022, while dealing with education abroad, the opportunities available in Asia, United States of America, Canada, Europe, Germany, Middle East and Australia were covered by eminent speakers.
After the expert talks, the stalls of various institutes and colleges were open for people to visit. This event was well received by the students and parents.
