The annual departmental activity under the theme Parivartan was conducted on 16th September 22 at 3pm. The topic chosen under the given theme was Communication – Wired to Wireless.
Usually, Physics is considered to be an abstract subject and is a little difficult to understand so we thought of presenting the topic through drama so that non physics people will also be able to understand the topic.
The whole topic was divided into three main groups as Sound communication, Light communication and Satellite communication.
The timeline for the evolution of communication was decided and we thought of presenting the whole thing from the era of Shivaji Maharaj to the current day.
The script was written by students under the guidance of teachers.
Many videos were included to have better understanding of the Physics behind the inventions and also to make the topic interesting. Along with the videos students also enacted certain incidents based on the discovery of Telephone, Radio, television, Morse code and its importance etc.
Though it was a departmental activity, students from Arts stream have also participated which was really appreciable. Over all the activity was a huge success and we feel we were able to reach out to the audience and were able to explain them the journey of communication .
