Vision board making
Session:25 and 28 June 2022
Activities conducted
• Writing the career preferred by the students
• Writing a quote by a motivational speaker that is liked by the students.
• Identifying who in the group wants to pursue a particular career by guessing.
• Story telling: The man and the butterfly.
• Slide show on goal setting
• Slide show on vision board ,its importance, discussion on how it is done and why.

Eight students from the arts and commerce stream joined the session.
The first activity was a game where students had to write the career preferred by them and keep it in a bunch where they all picked up the careers written by different students.
They then had to put efforts into trying to figure out who wants to pursue which career.The students figured out this rather easily as there were only 8 students in the class.

The next activity was writing a motivational quote by a motivational speaker and reading it in class. The students enjoyed this activity and most had quotes ready.
The students were presented with the goal setting activity . Its importance,how it is done,SMARTgoals were discussed with the.
The reasons for setting goals and the way to do it was also brain stormed.
Sheets to write their goals and details of goal setting were shared with the students too.
The students were then showed slides of how a vision board is made. The importance of making one and displaying it in their houses was also touched upon.

Students seemed to enjoy the session. A major concern seems to be the lack of students specially science stream.
Another session for these students is planned on the 28th of June where the students will actually make their own vision boards and display them in their rooms.
