Literacy extends beyond the basic ability to read and write—it’s a vital foundation for personal development, empowerment, and community advancement. It opens the door to knowledge, improves our decision-making capabilities, and connects us to a vast array of ideas and opportunities. 

To mark this special day, we organized a session on Cyber Security for the support staff of Dr. Kalmadi Shamarao Junior College. The session, delivered in Marathi, was led by our commerce students, Manali Gunda and Bhumi Panchbhai. 

The students provided a comprehensive overview of the various threats individuals face in the digital world and the necessary precautions to take when using mobile devices and the internet. They also covered crucial topics such as how to handle fraudulent messages or calls regarding bank details, setting secure passwords, and utilizing privacy options both on mobile devices and online. 

The helpers and lab assistants who attended the session found the lecture and presentation engaging and informative. The highlight of the session was that it was conducted in Marathi, making it more accessible and impactful for the audience.
