The objective of the Alumni Katta was to conduct an informal interactive session with the current batch of gifted students. Initially all gifted alumni introduced themselves and initiated the discussion by asking the current batch about the Gifted Nurturing Program that they have undergone and also about the residential camp. They discussed about the career they are pursuing currently along with the college life at their respective colleges and also how the nurturing program helped them, the transformations, etc. The alumni also shared their opinions about how to sail through Std XII pressure, stay determined, being resilient and focused. They encouraged them to have a long term goal.

The alumni also shared that they are still in contact with the resource people who were invited during the program and their experience with them post XII grade. The alumni enjoyed being invited and also thanked us for creating this opportunity to come to college as they also could meet their batch mates. The discussion also had topics like Indian politics, Indian Mythology and many such subjects of their interest.

In the end, a question was asked to all – what is the one thing that you would like to drop? These are some interesting answers we got. The alumni shared their experiences associated about why they woud want to let go of these things. Overall, it was an interactive, learning and fun session.
