The new batch of the Ecocentre was called for introduction and general discussions about why the students chose the centre and their passion towards the environment.
The session was also attended by a few students from standard XII, the previous batch.
The session began with serving of Lime sharbat and bakarwadi to welcome the students. Principal , Dr. Madhuri Chittewan addressed the students. She hoped that the students will work passionately for the longer term project and will show their Astitva or presence. A student from the XI presented Ma’am with a paper bag that he has made.
XII class students held an icebreaker for the students which brought forth expertise of the students in music, dance, painting etc.
Students shared why they became a part of the centre.
For some, the name appealed a lot while for some, it was their passion. Students interacted with the other batch too.
The students seemed very enthusiastic about the tasks done in the ecocentre and we hope that they follow their passion in the next one year at KSJC.
