Mahatma Gandhi Drawing Competition
Sixteen students from Classes 8 and 9 of Dr. Kalmadi Shyamrao High School (Kannada Medium) participated in a special drawing competition held at the historic Aga Khan Palace, Pune, on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti on October 2. The event was organized by the Gandhi National Memorial Society. As part of the competition, students created artworks portraying Mahatma Gandhi and illustrated various inspirational freedom slogans associated with him.
Among the participants, Duragamma, a Class 8 student, was awarded a consolation prize for her artwork. All other students received participation certificates and books on the life and principles of Mahatma Gandhi. The Headmistress and the entire teaching staff congratulated the students for their enthusiastic participation and commendable performance.
