Report on National Science Day Celebration
28th Feb. 2025, our school enthusiastically celebrated National Science Day with a variety of activities and events aimed at fostering scientific curiosity and creativity among students. The program highlighted the contributions of Sir C. V. Raman, his birth history, and his groundbreaking discovery of the Raman Effect, which was eloquently explained by students.
Activities and Presentations:
Science Exhibits and Rangoli Art:
Students showcased their knowledge through vibrant rangoli art, illustrating plant and animal cells with labeled parts. They also prepared detailed charts describing the functions of various cell organelles.
Experiments and Demonstrations:
Several students conducted live experiments on concepts such as pressure, density, and the brain’s structure and functions. Unique experiments, like the coconut opener, captured the audience’s attention and demonstrated innovative thinking.
Interactive Sessions:
A creative display of puzzles, paper-cutting art, and games enhanced the interactive spirit of the event. These activities highlighted students’ problem-solving skills and artistic talents.
Teacher Contributions:
The in-charge teacher, Mrs. Shreya Habbu, played a pivotal role in organizing and guiding the students. She, along with the science teacher, arranged and supervised the activities, while also emphasizing the importance of living healthily without dependence on medicines.
Guest Insights:
Mrs. Shobha Joshi, the chief guest, encouraged students to develop a scientific attitude, emphasizing its role in personal and societal growth.
Address by Headmistress:
Our headmistress, Mrs. Jyoti Kadkol, spoke about the importance of learning in shaping our lives and inspired everyone to continuously strive for knowledge.
Program Highlights:
The event was well-coordinated by s Anjali Murali, a talented student of class 8, who compared the program with confidence and delivered the vote of thanks under the guidance of Mrs. Shreya Habbu. The display board was beautifully decorated by students and Mrs. Shreya Habbu, adding a vibrant touch to the celebration.
Attendance:
The celebration witnessed active participation from all teachers, including Mrs. Nita, who applauded the students’ creativity and efforts. The National Science Day celebration successfully instilled a sense of scientific curiosity and creativity, leaving a lasting impression on everyone involved.
