A grand celebration of Mr. Firoz Poonawalla’s birthday was held on 26th April 2023. We had planned a very beautiful program for the day. Mr. Poonawalla was welcomed by a guard of honour by our students and teachers. During the formal program held in the auditorium, Mr. Kushal Hegde President Kannada Sangha Pune, Vice President Mrs. Indira Salian, Headmaster, staff and students, and ex-students (Lila girls) were present.
The stage and the hall were decorated beautifully. The program began with prayer. Our Headmaster welcomed everyone. The students performed a skit, danced, and presented songs to make their dad happy. Kanchana, Neelam, Sneha, and Tippamma expressed their thoughts. Students had prepared beautiful greeting cards for the occasion. Mr. Poonawalla was felicitated by the school on this occasion. It was decided to plant a sapling of champa flower on our Lohegaon campus.
This birthday celebration was really well planned by the teachers, students and all the staff members. Everyone took the initiative in making the program a success. Ex-students had sent videos of birthday wishes. The program was compered by Mrs. Wilma Martis. Mrs. Usha More gave the vote of thanks. Students enjoyed snacks of cake and sweets.
