Every year Marathi Bhasha Diwas is celebrated on 27th February. This year the program was held on 11th March 2023. Mr. Vi. Da. Pingle, a Marathi writer and a teacher was invited as a guest. The lecture was held in the school hall.
The headmaster, staff members, and students attended the lecture. The program was organized by the Hindi-Marathi Language Club. The program began with a prayer song. Miss. Asma Auti, President of the club welcomed everyone for the program. Mrs. Usha More introduced the guest speaker. The guest speaker was felicitated by the headmaster and the members of the club.
The lecture was on- Marathi Language and literature. The speaker Mr. Pingle interacted with the students. Through his lecture he introduced many popular Marathi writers and poets. Throughout his speech, he gave examples from the life of Sane Guruji’s and told the significance of inculcating moral values through books. He asked the students to attempt to write simple poems in Marathi. He recited a few poems and explained the deeper meaning of the poems.
Our Principal appreciated the guest for his efforts and thanked him for being present for our program. The vice president of the Hindi- Marathi club Vishal Manjrekar rendered the vote of thanks. The program ended with Vande Mataram.
