The farewell function of the SSC March 23 batch was held on 17 February 2023 in the school auditorium. Mrs. Indira Saliyan, vice president of Kannada Sangha, Dr. Chandrahas Shetty, Trustee of Kannada Sangha, and Dr. Shobha Joshi were present for the program.
The program began with the prayer and lighting of the lamp by the guests and teachers. The students of the 9th and 8th standards and teachers Mrs. Shreya Habbu and Mrs. Shobha Panchangmath were in charge of the program. School Headmaster Mr. Chandrakant Harkude helped the students to take a pledge and also expressed his thoughts. The class teacher spoke about the unique qualities of 10 standard students and they were given a memento from the school. On behalf of the 10th class Kritika, Parshuram and Darshan expressed their thoughts.
During the program, the best house was announced. The winner’s house was Varun’s house. Varun house incharge Teacher is Mrs. Shobha Panchangmath. Agni was the runner-up house. Agni’s house-in-charge Teacher is Mrs. Shreya Habbu. The winners of the English essay competition were also announced and felicitated during the program. Mrs. Indira Saliyan inspired the students with her beautiful message and words of encouragement. She sang a song composed by her. Dr. Chandrahas Shetty also inspired the students and appreciated Darshan for his wonderful speech. Mr. Sadanand Tavargeri and Mrs. Rekha Harkude were also present for the program.
The program ended with a vote of thanks and the students were given a hearty lunch after the first part of the program. During the second part of the program, some games and creative activities were conducted for the students of standard 10th. On behalf of Standard 8th, Priyanka Biradar expressed her thoughts. The memories of students in the school were presented in the form of a Powerpoint presentation by Mrs. Usha More the class teacher of standard 10th. It was a memorable event for the 10th-standard students and others as well. With the support of school Principal Mr. Chandrakant Harkude, Dr. Shobha Joshi, the teaching and the non-teaching staff, and the enthusiasm of the students, the program was conducted successfully.
