The Palkhi tradition is an integral part of Maharashtra’s culture. It symbolizes the annual pilgrimage (Wari) undertaken by devotees of Sant Dnyaneshwar and Sant Tukaram to the holy town of Pandharpur. The objective of celebrating Palkhi celebration in the KHS,Baner was to educate students about this significant cultural heritage and provide them with a sense of pride.The Ecofriendly Palkhi Celebration was held with great enthusiasm and spirit on 19th July 2024 which showcased the rich, cultural and spiritual traditions of Maharashtra and to instill in students the values of unity, devotion, and service.
