Kalam Center of KSJC is committed to promote the principles of good governance and good citizenship. We, the students of Kalam Center, serve our community whenever and however possible. Taking this belief forward, we embarked on an E-Waste collection drive in collaboration with the Lions Club of Pune. The drive was conducted from 4th Feb to 13th Feb. E-Waste was collected in our own college stilts. Waste like mobile phones, earphones, CDs, audio cassettes, emergency lights, etc. was collected in huge quantities. Through this drive, we tried to strengthen awareness on the harmful impacts of E-waste on our environment and sensitize the community about the importance of its effective management, especially to our younger generation.
