After 2 years of gloomy pandemic period, the school has started functioning like the old normal.
Therefore, a range of activities were planned and carried out successfully by the school. Students were given exposure and feel the joy of hands on activities.
For this, Art department had organised “Ganesh Idol” making workshop for std. 7th students on 10th of August in the school stilts. Mr. Chetan Pansare was the facilitator. Each student was given a “Shadu” clay and other material. The resource person explained the process carefully in a step-by-step manner. Students enjoyed the idol making very much as playing in clay is their favourite job. Later, all the idols were painted beautifully by the students.
To encourage them more, the Dr. Kalmadi Shamarao High School has organised “Happy sale” of these idols under which the students were able to sell their idols. This activity got an immense response. The ambience at the sale was very festive. Parents who came for the happy sale were very excited and cheerful.
Overall, it was fun-filled activity for the students. They enjoyed it very much. Hope, next year we may face a huge response again…
